Yemeni Activist: We Remain Steadfast in Supporting Palestine
In an interview with Taghrib News Agency (TNA), Abu Jarrah Shalil, media official in Yemen’s Al-Dhale province south of Sana’a, commented on the plan recently proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump through the UN Security Council to impose guardianship over the Gaza Strip.

He described it as “a malicious scheme designed by Zionists that has long targeted the Arab region, especially the Middle East and Gulf governments.”
He explained: “The Zionists are pursuing their satanic plan to dominate the Middle East and realize the myth of ‘Greater Israel.’ Trump is one of the leaders of global Zionism, now controlling governments of evil and arrogance, all united in advancing the Zionist project.”
Abu Jarrah Shalil added that Trump’s attempt—whom he referred to as a “criminal and terrorist”—to impose guardianship over Gaza via the Security Council, which he called the “Global Zionist Terrorism Council,” is nothing but an effort to occupy the territory.
He continued: “What the criminal Netanyahu failed to achieve through war, killing, siege, starvation, and displacement of Gaza’s people, Trump the Zionist now seeks to accomplish under the cover of so-called international legitimacy—legitimacy of global Zionism—through the Security Council.”
The Yemeni activist affirmed: “As a nation that believes in God and walks in His path, we are certain that God is with us. Victory is ours, and the plots of our enemies will be nullified. Their falsehood and existence are destined to vanish. This is God’s promise: ‘It is incumbent upon Us to help the believers’ (Qur’an 30:47).”
Speaking about the “Promised Victory Battle” (Ma‘rakat al-Fath al-Maw‘ud), he said: “We in Yemen—of faith, wisdom, and jihad—under the leadership of the mujahid scholar Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, continue our sacred struggle. This path began with the Qur’anic project founded by the martyr Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, reviving the spirit of jihad and directing the enmity of the Ummah toward the true enemies identified in the Qur’an.”
He praised the sacrifices of Yemen’s armed forces in this battle, noting that they have already created “miracles in modern military history” in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance. He said they are now preparing for the decisive battle to liberate and purify Al-Aqsa Mosque, equipped with material, spiritual, and faith-based capacities that make them worthy of leading the great Islamic struggle.
Abu Jarrah Shalil emphasized: “In Yemen, every development on the battlefield becomes an opportunity to prepare for the next stage. Our struggle is the battle of truth against falsehood, Islam against disbelief, and a continuous fight until the cancerous tumor consuming the body of the Ummah—the Zionist enemy—is eradicated.”
He added that the Yemeni people are today more united, steadfast, aware, and faithful than ever before, working tirelessly to strengthen the home front, expand military capabilities, and train popular forces. He noted that the Popular Mobilization Forces, during the battles of Al-Aqsa Flood, Promised Victory, and the sacred jihad, have reached more than 1.5 million fighters, in addition to the regular army and security forces capable of confronting the most advanced armies in the world.
In conclusion, the media official from Al-Dhale stressed: “Yemen—at the popular, official, military, and security levels—remains steadfast in its position of supporting the Palestinian people. We will never tire, weaken, or regret. We will never abandon even the smallest measure of support for God’s religion and His oppressed servants, especially the people of Gaza and Palestine, regardless of the costs, challenges, dangers, and conspiracies.”
