Ansarullah: Resistance Is the Only Effective Deterrent Against Aggression

Ansarullah emphasized that resistance remains the only effective deterrent against aggression, warning that any complacency would only strengthen Israel’s expansionist agenda across Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine. The group affirmed Syria’s right to respond to the attack using all available means, adding that ignoring historical lessons and failing to defend oneself would have grave consequences.
The organization also called on Arab and Islamic governments to confront what it described as Israel’s criminal assault, which targets the region’s geography, identity, and history. Ansarullah stressed that Arab weakness has emboldened Israel to intensify its actions and impose new realities through military force and aggression.
In parallel, Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli regime’s attack in Syria, describing it as a clear violation of Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, contrary to the UN Charter and all international norms and legal frameworks. The ministry praised the residents of Beit Jinn for their courageous resistance, which forced Israeli forces to retreat, and noted that Israel continues its efforts to undermine Syria’s capabilities, seize more territory, and pursue destructive objectives inside the country.
The statement reaffirmed Yemen’s steadfast position in supporting the people of Palestine and Syria and its commitment to stand alongside them against ongoing Israeli aggression.
Following the Israeli regime’s attack on Beit Jinn in the Damascus countryside, 13 Syrian citizens were killed and 25 others wounded.
