Enemy failed in 12-day war, 20-year plotting against Iran

The Leader hailed the Iranian nation for defeating both the Americans and Israelis while they returned defeated and empty-handed, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

In a televised speech addressed to the Iranian nation, he emphasized the necessity of strengthening and continuing the Basij (Mobilization) force in successive generations as "a great asset, a universal movement, and a factor in increasing national power."

The Leader called the failure of the US and the Zionist regime in achieving any of their objectives as a sign of their undoubted failure.

Referring to the statements about the Zionist regime's 20-year plan for war with Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei said: "They had planned a war in which they could provoke the nation and force the people to fight the regime, but the situation turned out the other way around and they failed in such a way that a general unity emerged in the country.”

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said,” Of course, we also suffered losses and, due to the nature of war, we lost dear lives, but the Islamic Republic showed that it is the center of will and power and can stand strong and make decisions without being afraid of anything. Meanwhile, the material losses inflicted on the aggressor enemy were much greater than our material losses.”

Ayatollah Khamenei pointed out the great losses suffered by America in the 12-Day War and added,” America suffered great losses in this war because, despite employing the latest advanced weapons, it was unable to achieve its goal of deceiving the nation and bringing them along with it. Rather, the nation's unity increased and America was also thwarted.”

Referring to the Zionist regime's extreme dishonor and infamy in the Gaza genocide as one of the most important tragedies in the history of the region, Ayatollah Khamenei noted, "America sided with the usurper regime in this matter and was severely dishonored and infamy because the people of the world know that the Zionist regime is not capable of creating so many disasters without the support by America."

The Leader called the leader of the Israeli regime as the most hated person in the world today and added, "Because America is on their side, the hatred of the Zionists has spread to America as well."

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution considered American interference in various parts of the world as another factor in its growing isolation and said,” American interference in any region causes war or genocide, destruction, and displacement.”

Ayatollah Khamenei cited the Zionist regime's attacks on Lebanon, its aggression against Syria and its crimes in the West Bank, and the deplorable situation in Gaza as other examples of America's overt support for the war and crimes of the evil regime, and said, "Of course, they are making up rumors that the Iranian government has sent a message to America through a certain country, but this is a complete lie and such a thing definitely did not exist."

Referring to America's betrayal of even its friends in exchange for supporting the Israeli regime and its attempt to incite war in the world over oil and underground resources, the scope of which has now reached Latin America, the Leader said, "Such a government is definitely not a government with which the Islamic Republic seeks cooperation and relations."

Still in another part of his speech, the Leader highlighted the global support for the resistance and said,” Today, this element, the element of resistance that was founded and grew in Iran, has expanded and you see that today, in the streets of Western countries, European countries, and even America itself, they are chanting slogans in favor of the resistance movements, the resistance movement in Gaza and across Palestine.”

“This means that this great and valuable growth that began in Iran has now gradually spread to a large part of the world”, added the Leader of Islamic Revolution.

The Leader, in conclusion, offered several recommendations to the nation, the first of which was to preserve and strengthen national unity emphasizing, "There are differences between political groups and factions, but it is important to stand together against the enemy, such as the 12-day war, and this solidarity is a very important factor for national authority."
