IRGC Spokesperson: Enemy Calculations Were Disrupted by National Unity, Military Strength

Speaking at a three-day empowerment workshop for public relations and media officers of the Basij Resistance units in South Khorasan, held in the holy city of Mashhad, Naeini commemorated the martyrs of national strength and praised the eloquence and intellectual depth of the late Major General Hossein Salami in his speeches.

“One of the key indicators of defeat is when the aggressor requests a ceasefire,” Naeini said. “We were undoubtedly victorious in the 12-day war.”
He noted that the Israeli aggression against Iran was condemned by over 120 countries and their governmental institutions, reflecting global opposition to the attack.
Highlighting the role of the Iranian people, Naeini emphasized that economic and social resilience, public solidarity with the government, national cohesion, and the strength of the armed forces were decisive factors in Iran’s success during the conflict.
He also referenced the Israeli targeting of Iran’s national broadcasting headquarters during the war, underscoring the importance of psychological resilience. “Despite damage to news infrastructure, accurate reporting and public communication continued with strength,” he said.
Naeini concluded by attributing Iran’s victory to divine support, the strategic leadership of the Supreme Leader, unified public engagement, and the steadfastness of the military. “The sacred unity of the people and the integrity of our armed forces were the pillars of triumph in this imposed war,” he said.
