Spain stresses Israel arms embargo despite Gaza ceasefire deal
Spanish Prime Minister has stressed that his country does not intend to lift an arms embargo against Israel despite a ceasefire deal in the war-torn Gaza in effect.

Pedro Sanchez said although there is a ceasefire, peace has to be built in Gaza stressing that peacebuilding efforts must take into account both in Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.
Spain passed a decree on October 8 imposing an arms embargo on Israel in light of the conflict in Gaza.
Madrid has adopted a number of other measures among them ban on transit through Spanish ports for all ships carrying fuel to the occupied lands, denial of entry into Spanish airspace of all state aircraft transporting military equipment to the Israeli regime.
