Israel kills 9, delays opening of Rafah crossing in violation of ceasefire deal
Hamas handed over the four bodies to the Red Cross representatives in Gaza on Tuesday night.

The move came despite repeated Israeli regime’s violation of a ceasefire deal that aimed to secure unconditional flow of humanitarian aid into the besieged strip.

The regime did not open the Rafah crossing under the pretext of not receiving the dead body of four Israeli captives held in Gaza.

The regime forces also shot dead at least nine Palestinians who were returning to their homes after the ceasefire deal took effect.

Hamas handed over the bodies of eight slain captives to Israel via the Red Cross while Israel complained the Palestinian group is moving too slowly with 20 others.

The Palestinian movement released 20 living Israeli captives on Monday in exchange for nearly 2000 Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails, 1700 of them abducted since the Israeli regime unleashed its genocide in Gaza.

The ceasefire agreement came into effect on Friday, more than two years after the Israeli regime carried out a genocidal war on Gaza killing more than 67,000 people, injuring more than 170,000 others.
