Unity, Muslims' strategic weapon against enemies of Islam
A prominent Iranian cleric called on all Muslims to boost their solidarity and take firm stance in face of their shared enemies.
Mamosta Faeq Rostami, a member of the Supreme Council of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA), emphasized the support of Muslim nations for each other to achieve a unified nation, stating: "Unity and proximity are tantamount to an invincible weapon against the conspiracies that America and the Zionist regime have planned for Muslim nations in the region today."
He said,” We clearly see that America and the Zionist regime are implementing numerous plans, such as the recent plan they presented to Hamas, in order to defeat the Islamic nation and subjugate it, so unity and solidarity is a principle and a powerful weapon for us today.
“We must have this strategic weapon in our hands to protect ourselves and also to protect Islam”, said.
The senior cleric added,” This widespread and pervasive weapon among the Islamic nation is like a united hand against the evil thoughts and plans of the enemies.”
“The Islamic Ummah has no time to deal with marginal issues and unity of Islamic Ummah has become a necessity today”, said Mamusta Rostami and added,” The Prophet of Islam today must be the axis and symbol of the Islamic Ummah to achieve this. In addition to being persecuted and harassed by all sides, he encouraged and invited everyone to unity with kindness and mercy.”
The Iranian cleric stated,” We should not sit back and watch the enemies make decisions for us. We should strive to bring peace and friendship to the world through the Islamic Ummah, because we are followers of the Prophet who gathered all tribes and groups under the banner of Allah, peace and friendship, and established brotherhood among all.”
