Sunni Cleric: Religious Scholars Must Expose the Divisive Schemes of Islam’s Enemies
Reflecting on Iran’s resilience during the 12-day war with Israel, Kalashinzhad stated: “The Iranian people, drawing from the legacy of the eight-year Sacred Defense, stood united behind the Supreme Leader and resisted the aggression of global powers. Their solidarity preserved the nation’s dignity and defensive strength.”

He noted that adversaries had anticipated Iran’s collapse within days, expecting social unrest and a breakdown of national defense. However, the collective memory of past sacrifices and the unity across Iran’s diverse ethnic and religious landscape proved decisive:
“From Kurds to Turks, Arabs, Persians, and Baluchis, all stood together for eight years against foreign invaders. That same spirit of unity must be passed on to future generations.”
Kalashinzhad stressed that the government must now deepen its service to the people, acknowledging their loyalty and sacrifice. He called for strategic use of national capacities to reinforce unity and warned of ongoing efforts to sow division:
“The enemies of Islam are actively plotting to divide our communities. It is the duty of Shia and Sunni scholars, preachers, and academics to expose these schemes and educate the public.”
He also criticized Western media and foreign actors for attempting to fracture Muslim societies and emphasized that unity is the only path to preserving Islamic dignity and sovereignty:
“The message of the Sacred Defense is clear: only through unity and cohesion can we resist domination and protect the honor of the Islamic Republic.”
