Nigerian Professor: Unity Is the Only Solution to the Challenges Facing the Islamic Ummah
“If we examine the current state of the Muslim world—from Palestine to Syria, Iraq, and beyond—we see numerous crises. The only viable solution is unity. Muslim countries must come together in solidarity. That is the core objective of the International Islamic Unity Conference, organized by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.”

Professor Bulu highlighted the pivotal role of intellectuals and writers in promoting Islamic unity: “Thinkers and writers have a profound cultural influence. In countries like Nigeria, Ghana, and others, we have powerful voices whose responsibility is to advocate for unity. Their role in raising awareness and shaping public opinion is vital.”
He also addressed the role of media in fostering unity, warning against divisive narratives promoted by Western outlets: “Western media actively seek to sow discord among Muslim nations, especially between key players like Iran and Saudi Arabia. Islamic media must counter these efforts by working together, speaking with one voice, and strengthening ties among Muslim countries. Only through coordinated media efforts can we neutralize hostile agendas and advance unity across the Ummah.”
