“We, the undersigned representatives of Malaysian political, civil, and humanitarian organizations, express our deep outrage and officially protest the United States’ role in enabling and supporting genocide, war crimes, and systematic violations of international law by the Israeli regime against the Palestinian people.”
The letter outlines seven key atrocities committed by Israel since October 7, 2023, including:
Mass killings of civilians, predominantly women and children
Use of starvation as a weapon through the blockade of food, water, fuel, and medicine
Systematic destruction of vital infrastructure such as hospitals and schools
Ethnic cleansing and land seizure in Gaza
The so-called “20-point Trump Peace Plan,” viewed as a cover for U.S.-Israeli control
Threats against the Sumud Flotilla
Attacks on civilians receiving aid from humanitarian foundations
The coalition accuses the United States of direct complicity:
Supplying weapons, military funding, and political cover for Israel
Repeatedly using its UN veto to shield Israel from accountability
Aligning its foreign policy with Israeli expansionism and apartheid
Blocking international legal action and undermining global efforts to end the genocide
The coalition demands that the U.S. government:
Immediately halt all military and financial aid to Israel
Cease obstructing UN resolutions and allow global action against occupation and apartheid
Recognize Palestinian sovereignty, end the blockade, and guarantee the right of return
End its complicity in genocide and ensure Israeli leaders face justice
Act as a fair mediator in the Middle East peace process, not a partisan enabler of war crimes
“History will judge the United States for its role in facilitating Israel’s crimes against humanity. Gaza has witnessed one of the most horrific genocides of our time. The world will remember who stood for justice—and who stood with the oppressors.”
The statement concludes with a pledge of solidarity from the Malaysian people and a call for immediate U.S. accountability. Signatories include MAPIM, the Global Coalition for Jerusalem and Palestine, the World Mosque Alliance for al-Aqsa (MANAR), the Secretariat of Asian Scholars (SHURA), the Quds Foundation Malaysia, Friends of Palestine Malaysia, and others.
