He condemned unilateralism and the misuse of power by certain states, which he said come at the cost of innocent lives. Every human, regardless of ethnicity or belief, deserves to live freely and benefit from divine blessings without infringing on others’ rights.
Expressing deep concern over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Pezeshkian noted that children are dying from hunger and lack of medicine while bombings continue. He denounced the open support of the occupying regime by powers that claim to uphold civilization, democracy, and human rights, calling it a stark contradiction that challenges the conscience of humanity.
The president reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to peace, justice, and human dignity, stating that these principles will be clearly voiced at the UN. He also plans to meet with world leaders, experts, Iranian expatriates, and other groups on the sidelines of the summit to exchange views and promote dialogue.
Pezeshkian stressed that global disputes arise when certain nations insist on domination and destruction. He called for sincere dialogue and mutual understanding, asserting that if all nations pursue truth and justice, conflict will diminish.
In conclusion, he reiterated that peace and security must be guaranteed for all—not just for Israel. He emphasized Iran’s intention to use the UN platform to expose realities and advocate for a just international order rooted in respect for sovereignty, human rights, and collective security.
