Israeli bulldozers, under the protection of the regime forces, have demolished the minaret of a mosque in Dura town, the occupied West Bank.
Regime’s heavy machinery stormed the town from its eastern entrance heading towards the al-Hijra suburb.
They forced residents to evacuate the area and closed the roads leading to it. They then bulldozed a minaret under construction.
Saher al-Darawish, director of the Southern Endowments Department, told the Palestinian media, WAFA, that Israeli occupation forces began demolishing a 15-meter-high minaret attached to the al-Farouq Mosque in the al-Hijra suburb, claiming it lacked a permit and was located opposite a military tower erected on citizens' land at the entrance to the town.
