Pezeshkian stressed that in recent years, interactions between Tehran and Dushanbe have always been positive and expanding, with cooperation growing in areas such as transit, trade, tourism, science, and people-to-people exchanges.
Referring to the situation in Gaza, Pezeshkian accused the Zionist regime of committing “maximum crimes” there and in other parts of the region with the support of the United States. He called on Islamic countries and international and regional organizations to take all possible measures to stop these actions.
For his part, President Rahmon reaffirmed Tajikistan’s interest in expanding and deepening bilateral relations, especially in economic, investment, and people-to-people fields. He also strongly condemned what he described as the military aggression of Israel and the United States against Iran, and expressed satisfaction with the constructive cooperation between the two countries in bilateral, regional, and international arenas, noting Iran’s significant historical, cultural, scientific, and civilizational standing.
