Mossad-Linked Terrorist Cell Dismantled in Iran’s Khorasan Razavi Province

According to Taghrib News Agency, the arrests were made following extensive and precise intelligence operations conducted by the provincial branch of the IRGC Intelligence Organization, in coordination with judicial authorities.

The detainees reportedly received specialized training via online platforms from Mossad operatives. During the recent 12-day conflict, referred to as the “Sacred Defense,” they transmitted coordinates of vital and sensitive sites, as well as information on high-ranking military figures, to Israeli intelligence officers.
Evidence suggests that the arrested individuals were planning attacks targeting senior government and military officials, as well as sabotage operations against key infrastructure in the holy city of Mashhad. Prior to executing any operations, they were apprehended through comprehensive intelligence surveillance. Authorities also seized materials intended for constructing launchers, bombs, explosives, and booby traps.
The statement further noted that the cell had established connections with separatist groups.
In its closing remarks, the Imam Reza Corps reminded citizens of the “Law on Countering Hostile Actions of the Zionist Regime,” urging residents—especially those in Khorasan Razavi—to report any suspicious activity.
It is worth noting that the aforementioned law, passed by Iran’s Parliament on May 18, 2020, and subsequently ratified by the Guardian Council, strictly prohibits any form of cooperation or contact with the Zionist regime, mandating firm legal action against violators.
