Sheikh Naim Qassem: Hezbollah Will Never Normalize Relations with the Zionist Regime
According to Taghrib News Agency, Sheikh Naim Qassem, in his Ashura speech, described the widespread public presence as a clear response to adversaries and a sign of the deep connection between the Lebanese people and the path of resistance.
He clarified that even when some might have thought regional developments could diminish public support for the resistance, this impressive turnout demonstrates the nation's steadfastness against oppression and aggression.
Referring to the ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanese soil, Sheikh Qassem declared: "Defending the country is an unavoidable duty, and we will not retreat from it even in the most difficult circumstances. The blood of the martyrs is a trust that does not allow us to remain silent."
He stressed that the resistance continues the path of Imam Musa Sadr and the martyred leaders of the resistance, stating: "We have pledged to follow this path until the realization of freedom and dignity, and we will not allow the occupiers to gain legitimacy through force and foreign support."
The Hezbollah Secretary-General also criticized projects aimed at normalizing relations with the Zionist regime, emphasizing: "Normalizing relations with the occupier means an insult to the dignity of the region's nations, and Hezbollah will never be a part of this process."
Sheikh Naim Qassem concluded by asserting that resistance is the guarantor of Lebanon's security and honor, adding: "As long as there is occupation, talking about true peace is meaningless."
