IRGC: Any Act of Aggression Will Accelerate Collapse of Zionist Regime
According to Taghrib News Agency, the IRGC emphasized that the abduction of Ahmad Motevaselian and his fellow diplomats—Seyyed Mohsen Mousavi, Taghi Rastegar Moghaddam, and Kazem Akhavan—by agents affiliated with the occupying Zionist regime in Lebanon remains an unresolved act of terrorism.

The statement expressed solidarity with the families of the abducted and reaffirmed the IRGC’s commitment to the path of dignity and resistance they embodied.
The anniversary comes just days after the end of a 12-day war launched by Israel and the United States against Iran. The IRGC described Iran’s firm and deterrent response as a clear demonstration of the Zionist regime’s fragility and crisis of legitimacy, asserting that the legacy of resistance figures like Motevaselian has now grown into a powerful regional force.
The statement reiterated the IRGC’s demand for clarity on the fate of the four diplomats and held Israel politically, legally, and criminally responsible as the occupying power in Lebanon at the time of the abduction.
It criticized international institutions and human rights advocates for their inaction, despite diplomatic efforts by Iran and even a 2008 statement by the UN Secretary-General expressing willingness to cooperate.
