Hojjatoleslam Qureshi: Iranian People Will Thwart Sectarian and Ethnic Plots

Qureshi condemned the recent Israeli attacks on Iran, calling them a grave miscalculation. He said that this time, Israel faced not defenseless civilians but a powerful and resolute Iran, backed by courageous men, steadfast women, and a wise leadership. He described the aggression as a turning point that would accelerate the downfall of the Zionist regime.

He also denounced threats made by former U.S. President Donald Trump against Iran’s Supreme Leader, warning that any harm to him would provoke a global backlash. Qureshi stressed that the Iranian people, regardless of sect or belief, are united in their loyalty to the Supreme Leader, whom he described as the pillar of the Islamic Revolution.

As Friday Prayer Leader of Urmia and representative of the Supreme Leader in West Azerbaijan Province, Qureshi affirmed that the blood of innocent Palestinians would not be shed in vain and that the liberation of Jerusalem is near. He warned that any voice aiding the enemy or weakening national unity would be seen as a fifth column and treated as a collaborator with Israel.

He concluded by urging vigilance against sectarian and ethnic provocations, calling on the people of West Azerbaijan to continue demonstrating unity in all arenas to foil such conspiracies.
