“Remarkable support of Iranians for Islamic Republic astonished enemies”

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mostafa Mahami, a member of the supreme council at Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought said the victory of the Iranian nation and imposing a cession of war on the Israeli regime was achieved due to the unity and support of the people.

The top cleric made the remarks in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) following the cession of the military aggression by the Israeli regime and the retaliatory missile strikes by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The representative of the Leader in Iran’s southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchistan said,” This victory was achieved when the enemies presumed that undermining Iran’s defense capabilities, following the terrorist attack on the top commanders, would dismantle the Islamic Republic.

He emphasized that the massive turnout of the people from all walks of life, particularly the youths, in Ghadir Eid, Friday of Anger protests and Nasr prayer as well as the other spontaneous moves by the people showed the determination of the people, encouraged the resistance fighters and astonished the enemies.

The prayer leader of Zahedan reiterated the support of the gallant people in Sistan and Baluchistan for the country hailing the enlightening speeches by clerics, elites and scholars in condemnation of the enemies, presence of all tribes and ethnical groups in different arenas, elimination of the terrorist groups and also high turnout in the Friday prayers.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mahami also paid tribute to the martyrs of the recent Israeli airstrikes on Iran vowing all-out support for the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation.
