The protest organizer, Esther Van Der Most, said the even is the 12th of its kind, this time held in Almere.
She said the shoes represent the Palestinian children killed in the Israeli offensives across the besieged strip adding that the number could be higher as many children are still not retrieved from under the rubble.
She expressed anger over the relentless airstrikes that continues to claim more lives in Gaza demanding all people in power as well as the ordinary people to keep raising attention on the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza.
The protest comes nearly 21 months after the Israeli regime launched its killing campaign in Gaza killing over 56,600 Palestinians, most of them women and children.
