Scholars of Islam and other religions must raise voice of Iran’s oppressed people to the world

According to Taghrib News Agency, Ayatollah A’rafi condemned the Zionist regime for its blatant violation of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and for launching a full-scale war against the peace-seeking Iranian nation—backed by certain Western countries, particularly the United States. He stated that a number of innocent civilians, scientific and nuclear scholars, and military commanders had been martyred, and several civilian and infrastructural centers had been targeted.

A member of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Seminaries, he added that the occupying regime has, for decades, carried out aggression against Palestine and other Islamic countries, with its hands stained by the blood of countless innocents. Quoting the Holy Qur’an, he emphasized that the regime has displayed the fiercest hostility toward Muslims throughout history.
He concluded by calling on religious leaders of Islam and other faiths to take a firm stance in this critical and decisive moment in human history—strongly condemning the Zionist regime’s ongoing attacks and amplifying the voice of the Iranian people’s suffering, while redoubling efforts to unify the Islamic Ummah against their common Zionist adversary.
