According to Taghrib News Agency, the individual, who was arrested and tried on charges of "Moharebeh" (waging war against God) and "Efsad-fil-Arz" (corruption on Earth) for intelligence cooperation and espionage on behalf of the Zionist regime, was executed by hanging this morning after a full criminal trial process and the upholding of his sentence by the Supreme Court.

Esmail Fekri, son of Khodanazar, was arrested in December 2023 in a complex technical and intelligence operation within the country while still in contact with the "terrorist-spy service of the Zionist regime."
Based on case documents, Esmail Fekri, throughout his cooperation with Mossad, attempted to provide classified and sensitive national information to the enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran in exchange for rewards.
During his cooperation with the Zionist regime's intelligence service, Esmail Fekri established contact with two Mossad officers.
Fekri initially began his cooperation with the Zionist regime's spy service after being recruited and approved by the first Mossad intelligence officer.
Information retrieved from Esmail Fekri's electronic devices revealed message exchanges between the accused and the service officer, with the officer instructing him to collect and transmit requested information to the service.
According to existing case documents, Esmail Fekri, during his contact with the Zionist regime's spy service, attempted to transmit classified information, including sensitive locations and headquarters, data on specific individuals, organizational missions, and more, to the Mossad officer through a secure connection.
After contacting his first officer, the convict was transferred to a second service officer named "Amir" in early 2022. "Amir" provided him with a new method, asking the accused to create a new platform for primary communications and reports.
To provide support, the service officer instructed the convict in July 2022 to install a cryptocurrency wallet. Fekri then installed and set up the wallet on his phone as instructed by the service.
At the same time Fekri was establishing contact with Mossad intelligence officers, Iranian security and intelligence agencies, through complex technical measures, discovered his communications with the Zionist regime and placed him and his communication network under surveillance.
After necessary precise intelligence and security measures were taken by the security agency and the "treacherous network of Zionist regime spies" was identified, Esmail Fekri was arrested in December 2023.
Following Esmail Fekri's arrest and the issuance of an indictment, court sessions were held with the presence of the accused and his lawyer. After hearing the statements of the accused and his lawyer, the court, based on reliable documents of the accused's extensive cooperation with the Zionist regime's spy service—obtained from technical and forensic inspections and investigations, retrieved information, investigations conducted on the accused, and his confessions, the accused's conscious contact with the occupying Zionist regime's intelligence service, and the receipt of a specific amount as payment and reward for his criminal cooperation with Mossad and other existing evidence in the case—found him guilty and sentenced him to death under Article 6 of the Law on Countering Hostile Actions of the Zionist Regime Against Peace and Security.
After the initial verdict was issued, the case was sent to the Supreme Court for appeal, which upheld and affirmed the court's decision based on the available documents.
Finally, in accordance with the verdicts issued by the court and after legal procedures were completed, the convict was executed by hanging.
