According to a statement released by the Communications and Information Center of the General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces on Saturday, Brigadier General Gholamreza Mehrabi and Brigadier General Mehdi Rabbani were killed during the Israeli regime’s assaults last night.

“Following the brutal aggression of the terrorist, illegitimate, and criminal Zionist regime, General Gholamreza Mehrabi and General Mehdi Rabbani, senior staff officials of the Armed Forces and veterans of the eight-year Sacred Defense, have joined their martyred comrades,” the statement said.

“Martyr General Gholamreza Mehrabi was the Deputy for Intelligence of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, and Martyr General Mehdi Rabani was the Deputy for Operations of the General Staff of the Armed Forces,” it added.

The Deputy Governor for Political and Security Affairs of Hamadan stated that as a result of the Israeli regime’s aggression in Asadabad, two first responders were killed and five others injured.

Hamzeh Omaraee announced the incident to reporters on Saturday, and said these individuals were killed or wounded following this morning’s aggression against a location in Asadabad County.

He stated that the aggression by Israeli forces was met with a proportionate response from the air defense units.

“The brave armed forces of Iran are on full alert to ensure the security of citizens and to defend the country’s land and sky,” he added.

The IRGC branch of Zanjan province also announced in a statement on Saturday the martyrdom of Hamid Tomari, Akbar Azizi, and Amir Khani, 3 members of the Ansar al-Mahdi Corps during the latest attack by the Israeli regime.

“In the barbaric attack by the Israeli regime at the dawn of June 14, 2025, three members of the Ansar al-Mahdi Corps of Zanjan Province gave their lives while defending the borders and land of Islamic Iran and its revolutionary and noble people,” the statement reads.

“The martyrdom of these brave men further exposed the brutality, savagery, and inhumanity of the usurping Israeli regime. Undoubtedly, severe punishment for this fake regime will bring solace to the hearts of the martyrs’ families and the great Iranian nation,” it added.
