36th passing anniversary of Imam Khomeini marked in Karachi

Hundreds of people from all walks of life joined the scholars and elites in downtown Karachi to mark the 36th passing anniversary of the late founder of Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA).

The participants reviewed the legacy of the late leader of Islamic revolution and his unwavering support for the Palestine cause, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The ceremony carried deeper significance amid the ongoing Israeli genocidal war in Gaza and his supports for the Palestinians resonating more powerfully than ever.
 
The participants also stressed Imam Khomeini’s call for Islamic unity especially in defense of Palestine drawing clear links between the struggles of the late leader of Islamic Revolution and todays struggles in the occupied territories.
 
They hailed Imam Khomeini for inspiring the nations regardless of their denomination or school of thought.
 
They condemned the silence of world powers and stressed resistance as the sole language the occupying Israeli regime understands.
 
Participants also stressed that the late Imam was not only a leader of the Islamic republic of Iran but a leader of the resistance against oppression across the globe.
 
Many found the gathering not just a memorial but a renewal of commitment to fight against injustice, upholding resistance and remembering that the cause of Palestine lies at the heart of Imam Khomeini’s ideologies.
