Malaysian council slams Israel over aid plan, buying time to annihilate Gaza
The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) has condemned, in strongest terms, a US-Israeli initiated plan for distributing aid in war-torn Gaza warning that the so-called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation is in fact buying time for the regime to annihilate Gaza.

The president of MAPIM, Sheikh Azmi Abdul Hamid slammed the US and Israeli regime for “cynical and deceptive” use of so-called "humanitarian aid" operations in Gaza only as a “smokescreen to prolong and intensify the systematic annihilation of Gaza, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He referred to more than 600 days of a brutal and illegal siege leaving to death, destruction and 2.3 million people starving to death in Gaza Strip.
He called the “deliberate” atrocity by Israeli regime for tight control and restriction of aid into Gaza as a war crime under international law.
According to the Malaysian scholar the US-Israeli Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) is only a militarized aid charade with both of them becoming the centerpiece of a propaganda operation masquerading as relief.
He said that the aid organizations and human rights groups have warned that the GHF has violated the humanitarian neutrality, militarized aid distribution and failed to meet minimum humanitarian standards.
Azmi Abdul Hamid referred to the ongoing Israeli aggression against Gaza while pretending to “deliver aid”.
The MAPIM president urged the international community, especially Muslim nations and global civil society, to reject the false humanitarian narrative pushed by the US-Israel alliance, demand an immediate, unconditional ceasefire and full, secure land access for UN and independent humanitarian agencies and also condemning the weaponization of aid and initiate independent investigations into the conduct of the GHF.
The scholar also urged for intensifying the global Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign as a peaceful resistance strategy.
MAPIM president warned, “The so-called "humanitarian" aid operations by the US and Israel are nothing more than a delaying tactic to complete genocide — and the world must not be complicit” and emphasized, “Gaza does not need militarized crumbs of aid. Gaza needs the bombing to stop, the siege to be lifted, the perpetrators to be held accountable, and the people to be free.”
