Rational, Inclusive Unity is Highest Form of Unity

According to the Taghrib News Agency(TNA), Hojjatoleslam Abdolreza Pourzahabi emphasized during the commemoration of the Martyrs of Unity and Service: "Unity is the greatest sign of the maturity of societies. Unity does not merely refer to the unity of Shia and Sunni; it encompasses multiple dimensions."

The representative of the Supreme Leader in Kurdistan Province noted, "Rational unity, free from narrow-mindedness, is the highest form of unity."
He added, "Even if there are differences in viewpoints and opinions, as long as we share a common path and proceed with adherence to the Quran and Islamic traditions, these differences can be resolved. Every wise individual has no choice but to continue on the path of service, even if some discrepancies may exist."
Hojjatoleslam Pourzahabi identified brotherly perspectives as another characteristic of unity and, referencing the teachings of the Quran, stated, "We must overlook each other's mistakes and errors. Someone may make a mistake due to ignorance or lack of knowledge, but our focus should be on the Supreme Leader that is the axis of unity."
He also considered constructive and compassionate unity to be important, saying, "Unity must be based on compassion; some individuals live on the fault lines of unity."
