Sheikh Naim Qassem: We Will Not Give Up an Ounce of Southern Lebanon's Soil

According to the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), Sheikh Naim Qassem, in a message to the people of southern Lebanon regarding the municipal elections, stated, "We will not give up an ounce of our proud land in the south, and we will not accept the continued occupation of even an inch of our soil and homeland by Israel."

He added, "The reconstruction and development of the southern land and the restoration of everything that has been destroyed in Lebanon is an inseparable part of our loyalty to the blood of the martyrs, foremost among them Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, as well as the wounded and the prisoners."
Sheikh Naim Qassem said, "O resilient people of southern Lebanon, you have made the greatest sacrifices and have displayed a legendary steadfastness in the face of Israeli aggression for decades, the latest being in support of the Gaza storm, the battle of the brave, and what followed."
He continued, "You rebuilt the south after its liberation in 2000 and again after the July 2006 aggression, and now you have outpaced the government and officials in returning to your land."
In the continuation of his message to the people of southern Lebanon, Sheikh Naim Qassem said, "With your steadfastness, courage, and reliance on the Almighty God, you faced dangers and made sacrifices to reclaim your land and homeland."
