The senior Iraqi jurist, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Sistani, has stressed expansion of humanitarian activities, charity work.

The Shia jurist made the comment in a meeting with a delegation of al-Ain social charity institute in Iraq hailing their efforts to assist the needy and orphans, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Ayatollah Sistani recommended the staff and executives of the charity institute for assisting the under-privileged and stressed his support for the group.
 
The visiting delegation from al-Ain institute also hailed the senior cleric for supporting the charity activities and guidelines stressing their determination to further promote charity work to include more needy families across the globe.
