He said: "The President of the United States, who recently traveled to the region with the aim of marketing, financing, and covering up the horrific crimes of the Zionist regime, made statements that are a bold distortion of reality and clear facts."
He emphasized: "At a time when the Zionist regime has displayed half of its ugly and dark face, committing the most horrific massacres and colonial genocide on behalf of the West, especially the United States, occupying lands of Arab-Islamic countries such as Syria and Lebanon, and committing terrorist acts, war crimes, and violations of the national sovereignty of Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen, it shamelessly refers to Iran as a threat to regional security."
The interim prayer leader of Tehran stressed that Iran is not a threat to the United States and the Zionist regime but rather a source of power, support, and unity for the Islamic Ummah.
He stated: "This blatant and shameless distortion cannot cover up the 10,101 crimes committed during 470 days of aggression against the Gaza Strip."
Abutorabi-Fard reminded that the Palestinian Government Information Office in the Gaza Strip reported in March 2025 that during this period, the Zionist regime, with Western military, political, and media support, has killed over 50,000 civilians, including 18,000 children and more than 12,000 women.
He said: "At the very moment the President of the United States is present in the region, introducing himself as the provider of security for Islamic countries, with full support from the United States, the Gaza Strip is deprived of access to basic needs for survival, and 3,500 children are at risk of death, with over 25,000 injured and sick people in urgent need of treatment completely besieged, witnessing their genocide with American weapons."
The interim prayer leader of Tehran stated: "U.S. governments, from the disgraceful coup of August 19, 1953, and the fall of the popular government of Mossadegh to today, have not refrained from any evil to threaten the national security and territorial integrity of Iran and to prevent its progress and development.
Unwavering support for the criminal regime of Saddam and the imposition of the harshest sanctions and economic pressures are violations of the human rights of the Iranian people."
Abutorabi-Fard expressed hope for the unity and solidarity of the Islamic Ummah and for it to stand alongside the oppressed people of Palestine and Gaza, paving the way for the increased power of the Islamic Ummah and the protection of the interests of the nations in the region against American excesses.
