The text of Qalibaf's speech is as follows:
"I have traveled to your beautiful country on behalf of the people of Iran to participate in the conference of Islamic countries' parliaments, and today I am here to convey the warm greetings and brotherly message of the people and leader of Iran to you.
Dear Muslim brothers and sisters,
At this moment, while we are talking in complete security, our brothers in Gaza are at home, in schools, in hospitals, and in camps, looking up at the sky every moment, waiting for the Israeli warplanes to fill the skies of Gaza again and for the bombing of homes, schools, camps, and even hospitals to begin.
Today, the Muslim children of Gaza cannot find a moment of peace from being killed by the attacks of the Zionist military, and hunger, thirst, and famine do not allow their cries to cease.
Today, the Zionist executioners do not even allow medicine to reach the sick.
The Prophet of Islam, may our lives be sacrificed for him, said in a famous hadith: 'Whoever hears a Muslim calling out, "O Muslims, help us!" and does not respond is not a Muslim.'
Dear Muslim brothers and sisters,
Today, the eyes of the people of Gaza, the children of Gaza, the women of Gaza, and the sick of Gaza are fixed on you and me. They expect us to stand by them. They want us to be the voice of their suffering and not leave them alone in these difficult days.
On the day that Imam Khomeini rose up in my country and expelled the puppet regime of imperialism from my country, he taught us two lessons from the Quran. The first is: 'And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided.' This means to hold onto the rope of God with all your Muslim brothers, regardless of sect, whether Shia or Sunni, and to maintain unity and not become divided. The second lesson that Imam Khomeini gave us is: 'Do not oppress and do not be oppressed.' Imam Khomeini, relying on God, did not submit to any oppression. From the very beginning, he said that this regime is a cancerous tumor against the Islamic world and must be resisted. Today, his words are echoed not only by the Muslims of the world but by all freedom-seekers globally. Our people, believing in the words of their Imam, have always provided whatever support we could to these people, and no pressure or threat has deterred us from this human and Islamic duty. We will continue to support them, relying on God, and we will never cease our support.
Dear brothers and sisters,
Today, it is our Islamic duty to stand together in unity and not allow the global imperialist system to continue the greatest genocide that history has ever witnessed."
