Senior Iranian jurist visits Iraqi scholars during Iraq tour

Iranian top jurist, Ayatollah Abdullah Javadi Amoli met with Iraq's top Shia jurist, Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani, as part of his trip to the neighboring country.

Iranian cleric in this meeting presented a complete series of his 80-volume book Tasnim, an exegesis of holy Qur’an, to Ayatollah Sistani, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Ayatollah Sistani hailed the book by the Iranian scholar calling that an honor for the Shia community.
 
He stressed his indiscriminate views on the Seminary of Qom and the Seminary of Najaf vowing all-out efforts for all religious academies.
 
Ayatollah Javadi Amoli for his part lauded the prominent Iraqi jurist as a blessing for the Islamic nation.
 
He hailed the “historic, long-lasting” role of Ayatollah Sistani in preserving the social system and confrontation with Takfiri terrorist groups like Daesh.

 
The Iranian cleric also met with Sayyed Ammar Hakim, the leader of National Wisdom Movement and also prominent Shia cleric, Muqtada Sadr.
