Nearly 20 civilians killed, scores injured in fresh Israeli strikes across Gaza

Israeli regime forces have carried out fresh air and artillery strikes against the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis leaving 19 Palestinians dead.

According to the Palestinian media, Israeli warplanes killed 11 citizens in a deadly strike targeting a home in the Khan Yunis refugee camp.

Another civilian was killed, his wife and two sons were also injured after his tent was targeted on the complex's street.

A citizen was also killed and others were injured in the bombing of a tent sheltering displaced persons in the Al-Mahatta area of Khan Yunis. A 4-month-old child, Hassan Abd Toman, was killed in a bombing that targeted a tent for displaced persons in the Asdaa area in the north.

An Israeli drone targeted a home in Khan Yunis, killing pregnant citizen Nadine Abu Lahia. Another person was injured.

The death toll from the bombing of the Za'rab family home in the Al-Batn Al-Sameen area has risen to 4, while rescue crews continue to search under the rubble.

In Rafah, rescue and ambulance crews recovered the decomposing body of a martyr on the beach in Rafah.

The number of civilians killed since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7th, 2023, has surged to 52,495, the majority of whom are children and women. At least 118,366 others have also been injured.

According to medical sources, the toll includes 2,326 civilians who were killed and 6,325 others who were injured since March 18 alone.
The sources further indicated that many victims remain buried under debris or scattered along the roads, as emergency medical and civil defense teams continue to face insurmountable challenges in reaching the affected areas.
