Cleric stresses nuclear program as non-negotiable, an asset for country
The interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran called Iran’s nuclear program as a non-negotiable topic and an asset for the Iranian nation.

Ayatollah Kazem Seddiqi, in his Friday sermon on May 2nd, explained his views on the Iran-US indirect talks held under the supervision of the Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He referred to the 2015 nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) as an experience from which Iran’s negotiating team learnt many lessons.
The senior cleric said,” A capable negotiating team must be deployed to promote the talks with calculations in face of the games they have played for tens or even hundreds of years of treachery.”
Ayatollah Seddiqi called nuclear program as a vital issue and an asset in all domains of life for the Iranian nation.
He reiterated that Iran’s nuclear program is not subjected to negotiations.
