Honor, security of people in Gaza violated

The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought condemned the Israeli atrocities against Palestinians in Gaza calling on all Muslims to shoulder their responsibility in face of Israeli crimes in the besieged strip.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, speaking at Friday prayer held in Zagreb Islamic Center, called on worshipers to hold responsibility regarding Gazans suffering Israeli atrocities in Gaza, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He called honor, esteem and security as the gifts of God for man expressing regret that all of them are violated for the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza.

He said,” We are witness to how the occupying Israeli regime violated the security of Palestinians and continues the killing campaign against civilians” and added,” But what has been the fault with Palestinian children who are deprived of their right to live? Same way that the people in Bosnia were killed many years ago.”

The senior Shia cleric said Muslims must first sympathize with the oppressed people and then practically show their sympathy by reducing the sufferings of those in pain.

Iranian scholar made the remarks at Friday prayer in Zagreb Islamic Center that he attended on the sideline of the visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina to attend international conference on artificial intelligence.
