Cleric stresses Islamic unity, efforts to boost solidarity among Muslims
The interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran has highlighted efforts to protect Islamic unity calling that a key teaching in the school of Imam Sadeq (AS).

Hujjat-ul-Islam Sayyed Mohammad Hassan Abou Torabi Fard, in his sermon on Friday April 25, reiterated importance of Islamic unity in the school of the sixth Shia Imam, Muslim scholars and the Leader of Islamic Revolution, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He quoted Imam Sadeq (AS) saying,” He who attends the Sunni worshipers at a communal prayer in order to support Islamic unity is similar to he who has performed prayer behind Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).”
The senior cleric said,” One of the most transforming steps by the Leader of Islamic Revolution was to build unity in the highest levels across the world of Islam.”
Still in another part of his speech, the top Shia scholar extended condolences to the Vatican and the Christian community in Iran over the passing of Pope Francis, the leader of Catholic Church.
