Imam Reza shrine schedules special programs for non-Iranian pilgrims

The holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), announces special programs to welcome non-Iranian pilgrims arriving to the holy site during the birth anniversary of the eighth Shia Imam and grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Zolfaghari, the deputy of the office for international pilgrims’ affairs, said the holy shrine has prepared to welcome the non-Iranian pilgrims visiting the holy during Ten Days of Karamat with featured cultural, religious and artistic programs, Taqrib News Agency (TNA) reported Astan News as saying.

He said the programs are designed in different languages in order to address pilgrims from different countries and deepen the spiritual connection with them.

Additionally, the programs feature special cultural ceremonies tailored to different linguistic and cultural groups among them “Banner of Guidance” for Arabic and Urdu speakers, “Themes and Poetry Sessions” for Urdu speakers and also “The Dawn of Rezvan” that addresses Azeri pilgrims.

There are also scholarly discussions on “The Essence of Reports on Imam Reza” in Arabic and some multilingual competitions on Imam Reza’s teachings that aim to promote knowledge and cultural dialogue.

Zolfaghari emphasized the programs’ global vision, describing the shrine as a spiritual home that welcomes devotees of Imam Reza regardless of nationality or language.

He added that the efforts reflect the universal message of unity, mercy, and interconnectedness embodied by Imam Reza (AS).

According to the cleric, Ten Days of Karamat provides an opportunity for pilgrims from around the globe to connect with the authentic Imam Reza’s culture and experience its spiritual blessings.

The Ten Days of Karamat, is the ten-day of celebration annually held to mark the birth anniversary of Hazrat Masumeh, sister of Imam Reza to that of the revered eighth Shia Imam.

The occasion inspires unity among Muslims worldwide and highlights the values of generosity and kindness for which Imam Reza is a perfect role model.
