The Army parade ceremony, held on the occasion of April 18, commenced with the presence of President Masoud Pezeshkian next to the holy shrine of Imam Khomeini in Tehran.

The Army parade ceremony, which took place on the morning of Friday, April 18 was attended by Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Support, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, Commander of the Army, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, Deputy Chief of the Army for Coordination, Brigadier General Kiomars Haidari, Commander of the Army Ground Forces, Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, Commander of the Navy, Brigadier General Hamid Vahedi, Commander of the Air Force, Brigadier General Alireza Sabahi Fard, Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Base, Major General Hossein Salami, the Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, Brigadier General Amirali Hajizadeh, Commander of the Aerospace Force of the IRGC, Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour, Commander of the Ground Forces of the IRGC, and several other military commanders of the country.
Additionally, the parade of the infantry units of the four branches of the Army and the vehicle convoy was held with the presence of high-ranking state and military officials, not only in Tehran but also in other provincial centers and some cities across the country.
During the Army Day ceremony, various achievements and indigenous equipment in the fields of drones, missiles, air, naval, and ground forces were showcased. Simultaneously, a naval parade was conducted by several vessels of the Navy, including indigenous destroyers and submarines, in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
April 18 also marks the anniversary of the unequal and treacherous battle between the United States and the destroyers Sahand, Sabalan, and the warship Joushan in 1988, for which programs are organized to commemorate the memory of the martyrs of the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
