Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting with the officials of Iran’s judiciary held on Tuesday on the occasion of the Persian New Year, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The Leader referred to the unparalleled crimes committed by “Zionist criminal gang”, including the deliberate attack on the patients, journalists, ambulances and women and children in Gaza saying this extent of brutality summons huge mercilessness that is found in the occupying criminal regime.
Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized a unanimous economic, diplomatic or practical move by the world of Islam as a serious necessity and noted that the God Almighty will punish the oppressors but that does not exempt governments and nations from their responsibility.
Elsewhere in his remarks the Leader approved as “good” the first round of indirect Oman talks between Iran and US.
The Leader said,” We are neither extremely optimist nor pessimist regarding the talks. It is a move made upon decisions and has so far been good.”
Ayatollah Khamenei added,” We are really skeptical of the other side but we remain confident of our capabilities.”
The Leader stressed importance of careful future moves and said the red lines are completely clear to the both sides of the talks.
At the beginning of the meeting, Vice President Mohammadreza Aref explained the coordination of the three powers in line with improving the economy, employment and other key domains of the country
