Israel launches fresh attacks on southern Syria

Israeli regime forces have carried out fresh airstrikes targeting south of Syria in yet another aggression against the Arab country.

Local sources reported that multiple explosions were heard in Sa’sa’ town near the occupied Golan Heights in southwestern Syria. That as officials from the Syrian transition government have not made any comments on the attack, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Israeli regime has intensified attacks against Syrian infrastructure and military positions since the militants’ surprise attack on Damascus that led to the fall of president Bashar al-Assad in early December 2024.

Israeli warplanes also carried out strikes against eastern and western parts of the country targeting the radars at the military airport in Deir al-Zawr and missile base and weapons depot in Tartus suburbs.

Israeli forces have occupied the Syrian territories in the Golan Heights in Deraa and al-Quneitra governorate.
