“Resistance, sole way to revive issue of Palestine”

Khalil Hamdan made the remarks in an address to the webinar of “From the River to the Sea” held by Iran’s major Islamic unity center, World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought on Monday morning, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” The victory of the Gaza and Lebanon resistance fighters against Zionist Israeli enemy reveals that we can take more measures for protection of our land and nation.”

He called on all resistance movements to boost their compassion and coordination for keeping alive the issue of Palestine and said,” The resistance fighters in Lebanon and Gaza proved that perseverance and sacrifice will eventually lead to victory.”

Also speaking in this webinar, a Syrian activist, Mahmoud al-Mawaledi, said,” The Zionist enemy by admitting the conditions set by the resistance for the ceasefire, has in fact confessed to its failure.”

He noted that the resistance movement in Gaza won the war and the aftermaths of the heavy blow inflicted on the Israeli regime will be known in future.”

Al-Mawaledi stressed that the victory of resistance axis should not be assessed in terms of material damage inflicted on the Israeli regime but in terms of strategic aspects.”

He expressed regret over the lives of resistance leaders lost during the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza and said,” The al-Aqsa Flood Operation proved the righteousness of the resistance” and added,”Resistance is not an option but a necessity.”

The Secretary of Islamic Okhovat (Fraternity) in Afghanistan called the Gaza ceasefire as a victory of ideology over technology.

Mowlavi Abdul Rauf Tavana condemned as “treacherous” the Gaza plan by the US President Donald Trump calling on the Islamic nations to firmly voice their opposition with the displacement of Palestinians from their land.

He stressed,” Trump’s Gaza plan will be thwarted like what happened to the Abraham Accord because Palestine belongs to its people.”

Meanwhile, a Lebanese university professor, Ragheda al-Mesri, lauded the perseverance and firm belief of the Lebanese and Palestinian people as the key factors behind the victory in face of the occupiers and their brutal war machine.”

She added,” The enemies’ crimes, demolition of homes and forced displacement of the people did not frighten the people as they did not flee martyrdom rather embraced it only for freedom and honor of their land and sanctities.”

Another speaker at this webinar, Iraqi researcher and activist, Jamal Abu Hareth also delivered speech at this webinar stressed role of Islamic unity in maintaining honor of Muslims.

He highlighted the role of Islamic Republic in leading the resistance axis.

Abu Hareth also underlined necessity of jihad (struggle) for freedom of Palestine calling that the sole way in face of the Israeli regime that only knows the way to occupy.

The Iraqi researcher highlighted importance of support of the resistance axis and its pressure on the “Zionists” saying,” The victory in Gaza would not have been achieved if it was not for the support of the Hezbollah, Ansarullah, Hashd al-Shabi and the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Jamal Abu Hareth warned against any provocations under the name of ethnical or national activities and said,” The Gaza victory is an Islamic victory; hence, no other title than “Islamic victory” must be used for that.”

The advisor to the Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Mohammad Ali Azarshab in his remarks at the webinar, lauded the resistance for imposing its conditions on the “Zionist” enemies in the ceasefire talks.

The Iranian thinker said,” The war in Gaza was not an equal war between two armies facilitated by different weapons, rather it was a war between a fully-armed internationally-backed military against a group merely armed by determination, perseverance and sacrifice.”

He called the victory of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza war as a victory of blood over sword.
