Hezbollah warns against Trump’s stance on Palestine as ‘extremely dangerous’

The chief of Lebanese resistance movement has warned against US President Donald Trump’s so-called proposal for Gaza Strip as “extremely dangerous” plan that aims to eliminate Palestinian nation.

Sheikh Naim Qassem made the remarks in a televised speech on Sunday, after Trump reiterated his controversial plan to forcibly relocate Palestinians from Gaza and take over the blockaded territory.

He went on to say that Trump’s stance represents a “political genocide” after Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the US failed to achieve their objectives during the 15-month-long brutal war on Gaza.

"Trump is trying to control the world, not just Palestine," the Hezbollah chief said, adding that "everything Israel does is managed and is supported by the US.

International law experts say Trump’s Gaza displacement plan is in flagrant violation of international law.
