The Leader of Islamic Revolution referred to enemies’ hostile propaganda and soft warfare against the “owners of the Islamic Revolution”, meaning Iranian nation and the “hero of the February 10 Islamic Revolution”, late Imam Khomeini (RA) and said,” Iranian nation timely hit the streets in all towns and villages to express its stance.”
In another part of his remarks, the Leader emphasized as a key issue the defense capabilities and security in the country and said,” Friends of Islamic Revolution are proud of Iran’s defense power and enemies are frightened and that fact is critical for a country.”
Ayatollah Khamenei lauded the remarkable defense advancement made by Iranian scientists despite the ongoing sanctions and said,” Our advancement in defense technology promoted us in the global defense ranking however that does not mean satisfaction or a pause for us because we started from the scratch and despite much endeavor, we have still long way ahead to a leading position.”
The Leader of Islamic Revolution highlighted innovation as another necessity for advancement in the defense technology and said,” Innovation does not translate to the capability to complete what others have already done but that we should head for what is undone and activate the potentials in nature as the discovery of electricity, internet and artificial intelligence opened new doors to the world science.”
At the beginning of the meeting Iran’s Minister of Defense, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, provided a report on the research, design and production of advanced weapons as well as the non-military achievements, including launching Defense Technology parks and also cooperation in projects by other sections in the country.
