The occupation has injured and arrested dozens amidst the bombing of homes, the destruction of hundreds of housing units and the displacement of thousands.
Local sources reported that massive explosions were heard inside Jenin camp, resulting from the demolition of citizens’ homes, while the occupation continues to send military reinforcements from the Al-Jalama military checkpoint towards the camp and its surroundings, according to WAFA News Agency.
Official estimates indicate that about 90 per cent of the camp’s residents were forcibly displaced from the camp, heading to towns and villages in the Jenin Governorate.
The occupation forces are preventing journalists and medical teams from entering the city and its camp amidst a stifling siege and extensive bulldozing operations.
Sources told Al Jazeera that Israeli forces reinforced their presence around the camp and conducted intensive drone surveillance.
Last week, the occupation army blew up residential blocks in Jenin camp for the first time since the Second Intifada in 2002.
The occupation forces also continue to besiege Jenin Governmental Hospital after bulldozing its main entrance and the main street leading to it. The hospital is suffering from a severe shortage of potable water, and the Jenin Municipality is working in cooperation with the Civil Defence to try to deliver water to the hospital via small agricultural tractors because the occupation prevents water tankers belonging to the Civil Defence from entering.
The occupation forces detained a Palestinian vehicle in Al-Kharouba neighbourhood, searched it and interrogated its owner, as well as obstructing the movement of several vehicles at the Al-Jalbuni roundabout in the centre of the city.
The occupation also arrested a young man after raiding a house he was in, located in the town of Burqin, west of the city. It also stormed Yamoun (west) and arrested a young man from the town.
Amidst these attacks, power outages continue in several neighbourhoods in Jenin camp and its surroundings, in addition to water outages due to the destruction of the infrastructure, which prevents Jenin municipality teams from repairing the water network and power lines.
