Abu Qutaish: 'Occupation's Move to Displace Al-Nu’aman Residents is a Strategy to Judaize Jerusalem
Abu Qutaish explained in a press statement on Friday that the plans are consistent with the Zionist project for Jerusalem, known as “Greater Jerusalem”, which aims to annex all territories in the Jerusalem Governorate and expel the Palestinians from their land.

He clarified that the occupation is rushing to implement its settlement plans with all its might, taking advantage of the current circumstances to create a new reality in Jerusalem based on a Zionist vision and a biblical narrative far from the historical and geographical context of the holy city. This will ultimately lead to the isolation of Al-Aqsa Mosque, its demolition and the establishment of the alleged temple.
Abu Qutaish stressed the need for urgent action at all official, popular, local and international levels to oppose the plans and to defend Al-Aqsa Mosque, our Palestinian land in Jerusalem and our cause that the US administration and the occupation government are trying to stifle.
The occupation forces issued demolition notices to all 45 homes in the village of Al-Nu’aman, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, in addition to the village mosque, under the pretext of building without a permit. Al-Nu’aman is a small village in Jerusalem, but the settlement wall isolated it from its mother city. A military checkpoint was placed at its entrance, depriving its citizens of their right to move.
This crime aims to displace the village’s 150 residents to annex it to the borders of the occupation’s municipality in Jerusalem.
