Leader calls for de-dollarization of Iran commercial interactions
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has called for de-dollarization of the commercial interactions as a way to further enhance the country’s economy.

Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting with hundreds of Iranian economy experts and manufacturers from private sector on Wednesday morning, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The Leader highlighted importance of continued economic growth and said,” Although 8% economic growth does not translate to a miracle but once it maintains its sustainable growth, it will lead to considerable changes in the economic conditions of the country.”
Ayatollah Khamenei also stressed importance of participation in global economic forums like BRICS and hailed the economic group as a major capacity that facilitates its member states to use their currency in foreign trade.
Referring to the Tuesday visit to the “Pioneers of Progress” exhibition showcasing the achievements of the private sector industries, the Leader said,” This exhibition is a miniature of the progress made by the country while it reveals satisfactory progress of the private sector despite the threats and sanctions.”
Ayatollah Khamenei praised the advances and initiations by the private sector as a gleam of hope calling on the officials and decision makers to settle issues that might bar progress of the private sector.
Still in another part of his remarks, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution lauded the Gaza ceasefire as a clear instance on livelihood of the resistance and said,” The ongoing developments resembles a myth that a great war-monger, like the United States, in defiance of the humanitarian laws, provides the blood-thirsty Israeli regime with bunker buster bombs and the regime massacres 15,000 children in their homes and hospitals, still remains incapable of achieving its objectives.”
Ayatollah Khamenei stressed,” Had it not been for the military support of the United States, the Israeli regime would have been defeated in the early weeks of the war.”
“Israeli regime committed crimes in targeting hospitals, mosques and churches in over a year of its war against Gaza but eventually failed to achieve the objectives its leader announced regarding elimination of Hamas and finally had admit the conditions of the Hamas resistance at the negotiation table.”
In this meeting held in Imam Khomeini (RA) Husseiniya in Tehran, some of the manufacturers discussed their views regarding economic issues with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
