According to the new information concerning the excavations carried out by the Zionist authorities under al-Aqsa Mosque, threatening its foundations, Hizbullah issued the following statement:
Every day new information are unfolded about excavations carried out by the Zionist authorities near the foundations of al-Aqsa Mosque and its surroundings, representing a real and dangerous threat to the first Qiblah (prayer direction) of Muslims and the unique symbol in the Arab and Islamic worlds.
These ongoing excavations are an episode in the series of dislocating the foundations of al-Aqsa Mosque, making it vulnerable to collapse at any moment due to any natural condition or indirect attacks that occur around it. These facts place all Muslims and Arabs in a full responsibility position regarding any negative development that occurs in al-Aqsa Mosque, and make them guilty of negligence, abandonment and disability, in case these Zionist excavations led to the collapse of the mosque, God Forbid. The silence of the United Nations and the international community\'s bodies regarding this crime puts it in the position of a full partner in implementing these crimes.
In this context, Hizbullah strongly condemns these criminal Zionist practices, and calls upon the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Conference, and all regional and international institutions, to raise their voices in denouncement against these Zionist excavations.
Hizbullah also urges these organizations to move and put an end to these practices and strengthen the foundations of al-Aqsa Mosque; which is considered the Muslims\' first Qiblah, before the forbidden occurs and the satanic Zionist procedures succeed in destroying this great edifice.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is in serious danger, so it is required to carry out concrete measures to avoid the danger of collapse. This also applies on all Islamic and Christian sanctities in occupied Palestine, which the Zionists are working on hiding it, one symbol at a time, in order to implement their Judaizing projects and racist dreams.
