In a statement on Saturday, Hamas applauded the decision as a “positive step conveying a message of solidarity with the Palestinian people’s just cause.”
Hamas said that such an appreciated step would contribute to facilitating the lives of Palestinians and their movement.
The Movement urged other countries to follow suit and provide every support for the Palestinian citizens, who suffer from Israeli racism and fascism.
In accordance with this measure, Palestinian citizens will be granted entry visas at all airports, ports and border crossings of South Africa for a period of 90 days without the need to obtain visas from South African embassies.
