OIC condemns Israeli desecration of al-Aqsa Mosque

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has issued a statement on Sunday to condemn Israeli regime atrocities against the al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian worshipers at the holy site.

Secretariat of the OIC in its statement slammed the ongoing raids by extremist settlers against the al-Aqsa Mosque under Israeli police protection, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The statement also denounced Israeli settlers for preventing Muslim worshipers from holding the communal prayer there.
 
The OIC called the constant defiling of al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli settlers an apparent violation of the holy site and freedom of worship by the occupiers.
 
It also called that an evident breach of the Geneva convention and international laws.
 
The OIC noted that the occupying Israeli regime should stand responsible for the organized raids and provocation of Muslims across the globe.
 
The OIC reiterated protection of the historical and legal status of the Islamic and Christian sanctities in the occupied lands.
 
It called on the international community to stand responsible to end such violations against al-Aqsa Mosque.
