Israeli regime adds restrictions for Muslim worshipers at al-Aqsa Mosque
Sheikh Najeh Bakirat, in his latest press statement, stressed that the new security cameras aim to facilitate detention of the Jerusalemites and also restrict the conditions for Muslim worshipers during the fasting month of Ramadan.

“Israel aims at changing the Islamic identity of Jerusalem by facilitating Jewish settlers’ raids into Al-Aqsa Mosque and imposing restrictions on Muslim worshippers,” Sheikh Bakirat affirmed.

For his part, Deputy Head of Hamas's Political Bureau Saleh al-Arouri underlined in a statement a few days ago that the Israeli occupation attempts to impose spatial and temporal division on the Al-Aqsa Mosque by allowing settlers to perform Talmudic rituals in its courtyards in the holy month of Ramadan.

Earlier today, Israeli police stormed the Bab Hitta area, attacking Palestinian youths who were decorating the area in anticipation of the holy month of Ramadan.

Extremist Jewish groups had called for participating in massive raids into the Al-Aqsa Mosque next April to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Passover, which coincides with the third week of Ramadan.
