Representative of the Supreme Leader in Iran’s Kurdistan province highlighted the constructive role of Iranian women in promotion of the country.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Abdul Reza Pourzahabi, speaking at “Fatemi Hijab and Chastity” conference held in Sanandaj on Wednesday, lauded the active role of Iranian women, particularly those from Kurdistan province, in the scientific and athletic arenas, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He referred to the increasing number of women who have joined the academic boards at universities since the victory of Islamic Revolution and reiterated the contribution of women in Kurdistan province to scientific advancement of the country.
 
Top cleric noted the number of female university students and those active in the school system in the Iranian western province.
 
Representative of the Supreme Leader in Kurdistan province praised the athletic achievements of women in soccer and basketball.
 
Senior scholar made the comments at the conference of “Fatemi Hijab and Chastity” held on the first day of the ceremonies held for the 44th anniversary of Islamic Revolution.
