Prayer leader of al-Aqsa Mosque denounced burning a copy of holy Qur’an in Sweden calling that a hate speech against Islam and all Muslims.

Sheikh Yousuf Abu Sneina, orator of al-Aqsa Mosque condemned the desecration of holy Qur’an by far-right activist in Sweden and said enemies cannot burn the Qur’an inscribed in the hearts of Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Top cleric called on the Arab and Islamic countries to summon their ambassadors from the countries where Qur’an burning is authorized.
 
He added,” Qur’an is the word of Almighty God and he who is hostile with the holy book is in fact an enemy of God.”

Mosque called Qur’an burning as evidence for hostility with the Muslims and noted,” Enemies of Islam currently fight with Muslims, the holy religion or Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) sometimes insult Prophet of Islam and sometime burn a copy of holy Qur’an.”
 
Senior scholar condemned some countries for authorizing the extremists to burn or tearing the holy Qur’an and said,” It is a shame that some administrations issue permission for such crimes under the pretext of democracy while this is hostility with Muslims rather than democracy.”
 
Sheikh Abu Snaina also condemned silence of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) towards the heinous measure and called on the Arab and Islamic countries to summon their ambassadors and diplomats as a practical reaction against the countries where the Qur’an burning happened.
